Old Shoe Quarter Scale House in Progress

This is my first attempt working in quarter scale. What a joy!
I have had so much fun making this Old Shoe House from a kit by Suzanne and Andrews Miniatures. www.andrewsmini.com
I still have quite a bit to do.
There are trees and shrubs, more flowers and yard furniture to add.

For the brick work I used a quarter scale brick mold and spackling paste.
This is glued over a foam core base. Then I added lots of moss, grass and dirt.

Some of the interior is completed but not enough to show yet.
I will post photos when I finish.
If you haven't tried quarter scale....it is fun!
The best part is that you can fit several houses on one shelf!

estas escenas tan originales me encantan, es como imaginarse uno de esos cuentos que oimos de pequeños y vivir historias de los personajes dentro de la bota con nosotros de invitados

What a cute and funny idea!!! Like the others; it´s going to be fun to se it fully furnished. But it´s so small, for me it is more then enough for my eyes to manage 1:12, and even if I wear glasses!!!

You must have VERY SKINNY fingers! I become so clumsy when things are so small.

The shoe looks great however. The 'many' kids must be at school? So many nice details on this house!
